Original Post-War Signed Photo & Letter from WWII Wehrmacht Officer Bruno Kahl – Historical Archival Set

Offered here is a rare post-war set consisting of a signed photograph and personal handwritten letter from Bruno Kahl, a former officer of the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War. The photograph depicts Kahl in full wartime uniform, and the letter, handwritten and signed in ink, provides personal context and insight into the post-war correspondence habits of former military personnel. Bruno Kahl (1914–1999) served in the German Army (Wehrmacht) during World War II and rose to the rank of Oberstleutnant (Lieutenant Colonel). He was attached to Panzerjäger-Regiment 656, an anti-tank unit active on both the Eastern and Western fronts. Kahl distinguished himself in frontline combat and was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves—one of the highest military honors in Nazi Germany—for bravery and leadership in action. His decorations also include the German Cross in Gold, the Iron Cross 1st Class, and multiple wound badges. He was recognized for effective armored countermeasures

and resistance during key defensive campaigns between 1941 and 1943. Both the photo and letter are in very good condition, with excellent legibility and clarity. This set is offered strictly for historical and archival purposes and does not promote any political ideology. A valuable piece for collectors and researchers of WWII German military history.
